When I first started Fiorello’s as a single scoop shop in 1982, my goal was to achieve the highest quality gelato as far as possible.
It took me a full year of upstream steadfast commitment to fulfill it.
Without any clear understanding on how to make business, I was hoping to start an “airless” ice cream revolution even if it meant that I had to sacrifice profits for premium flavors.
Over 40+ years of business, I’ve never ever compromised the quality of our gelato and I will never do so.
Growing up in an Italian-American neighborhood taught me that good and authentic food always brings happiness.
